The word Kingdom is the Greek word Basileia? Meaning royal dominion, to rule. The rim of a king. In a kingdoms reign. Strong concordance. Number (G932). The English word is composed of two other words, king-dom. The suffix meaning domain. A King's domain is his Kingdom, a Kingdom is a government that rules a territory, an area, or a nation? The scripture teaches in emphatically that Jesus is a king, He has a Kingdom, and He rules a territory. Naturally, His rule is boundless. His domain is everywhere - in heaven, and on the earth. He even rules hell itself because He has the keys which, represents authority.

Jesus being king of Heaven is not argued very much among Christians. Jesus is king over the earth is often dispensationalism. It’s put off into the future as though the earth is not yet part of His domain or jurisdiction, which is exactly wrong. To say that would limit His authority, and you can't do that because Jesus himself said, Matthews 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” He spoke that word in the present tense, so that must mean that he is king of Heaven, and He is king of Earth right now. He is sovereign over it all right now.

How does that work? It’s supposed to work through His Kingdom’s Church, which is His body. Ephesians 1:23, "²³ Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” The church is to be Christ ruling body on the Earth.

Remember Romans 8:17, “¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

We are identical heirs with Christ, right now, and in His Name, we are to rule on Earth. Yes, we are going to rule with him through eternity, but we need to reign with Him now as well. We should not dispensationalize it away into the future.

Jesus came to start a Kingdom. That Isaiah said would have no end. A quick review of the book of Matthews highlights the overwhelming importance the God had placed upon this. Is why Jesus didn't start explaining his church first.

You cannot understand what real church (Ekklesia) is until you understand Kingdom. The church is a part of his Kingdom. The world right now is in an absolute mess because we have not understood that the church is to be a ruling and reigning branch of His Kingdom upon the earth.

In fact, Kingdom has been minimized by the minimal (in name only). Church in our time. Christ intend that his church (Ekklesia) should rule, and reign has been completely distorted. Most believers have been taught the exact opposite. I was raised in church, and I was taught the exact opposite. Hell Has worked for centuries to suppress this truth, and yes, satan even used the church to suppress this truth.

The message of the Kingdom today and the ruling and reigning mandate upon the church (Ekklesia) has been put off into the future. We need to see what Jesus says. I am more interested in what Jesus says than what man, the devil, or our government says. Is seems to me to be common sense that Jesus would define what He means by the church that He is building.

Jesus did say, according to Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Why would we allow anyone else but Jesus himself to define what he means? That makes no sense to me. What He meant is a bit complicated, but it's not hard to understand if we have the right definition. It’s been clouded up because of man's idea that have gotten in the way of the truth.

The answer to all the chaos and confusion in our world today is the church rising up to be what Christ says the church is to be. It is abundantly clear. To anyone who will take an honest look at scriptures that Jesus came to start a Kingdom. He came to build a spiritual Kingdom. That were represent Him on the Earth. A spiritual Kingdom that would visibly affect the Earth.

When you think about it. A spiritual Kingdom. Do not think. I'm real thinking. Real but unseen, for example. While you can't see Heaven right now. Decisions made in Heaven can and do affect things on the Earth.

Christ Kingdom is a spiritual Kingdom that does visibly affect the world, even though it is invisible to the natural eye. It is a real Kingdom. It is not a Phantom Kingdom, nor is it one that is off in the future somewhere as most today describe it.
